University Withdrawal Form

University Withdrawal Form

Submission of this form notifies the University of your intent to withdraw from all of your classes for the current semester. If you plan to return in a future term, please be sure to indicate that information below, and be advised that your financial aid eligibility may be different in a future term.

Please note: You may not withdraw from the current semester once final exams begin. Forms received after final exams begin will be effective the following term.

All students are encouraged to consider withdrawing from only some of their classes if they might be successful in others. Click here to review the policy on Satisfactory Progress.

All undergraduate students who wish to withdraw from the University are advised to consult with a representative from the Center for Student Success to discuss the withdrawal and make a preliminary evaluation of readmission possibilities. Graduate students should consult with their Program Coordinator before making the decision to withdraw.

Prior to completing this form, students should also consider any potential financial impact by discussing their withdrawal with the Office of Financial Aid at (203) 932-7315 or financialaid@newhaven.edu.
