All students applying for OPT are required to complete the “OPT Preparation Course” on Canvas prior to submitting an OPT I-20 Request Form.
•The earliest you can submit this application is 90 days before your program end date.

•Your new OPT I-20 will be provided to you after we process this request form. Do not submit the online I-765 until you have this I-20. It is required.

•USCIS must receive your complete OPT application within 30 days of the issue date of your new OPT I-20.
