Emotional Intelligence: Three Questions to Answer

1. Why does it matter?
2. Why especially important for family businesses?
3. How can you improve?

Presented by Chuck Wolfe, Leadership Coach, Radio Talk Show Host, Creator of “The Emotion Roadmap”

It matters because emotions are always present. Emotions drive our thoughts and these thoughts drive behaviors.

Achieving the best behavior in ourselves and in others comes from understanding the role emotions play and managing them effectively.

In family owned businesses emotions are often more challenging when it comes to situations involving conflicts, fairness, performance issues, succession plans, accountability and a host of other issues that impact all businesses, but are often more personal in family businesses.

Chuck Wolfe, emotional intelligence pioneer, will address these questions and challenges. Participants will leave with new strategies for challenging situations at home and at work.

Key takeaways,

1. A way to talk about challenges with minimal defensiveness
2. A thoughtful approach to managing our own emotions
3. An increased understanding of others feelings and wishes that lead to better relationships and improved conflict management.
4. Knowledge of the Emotion Roadmap, the key takeaway that has the potential to be life changing.
