Exceptions to “First Right of Refusal” Clause in Sodexo Contract

Students, Faculty, and/or staff may source food from providers other than Sodexo under the following circumstances:

Religious Needs– any food item that Sodexo can’t provide or needs to be prepared in a specific setting/kitchen that Sodexo cannot accommodate.

Functions with 10 or less attendees - RSO’s, departments, offices where the meal is not being held in bookable university space thru EMS.

Pizza – ordering pizza from local restaurants is approved.

In all cases a Food Waiver must be submitted and approved.

All RSO/student food waiver requests must be submitted via Charger Connection. Greg Overend will coordinate all RSO/student waiver requests.
