2024-2025 Federal Work Study Waitlist

Federal Work Study (FWS) is a financial aid award based on financial need which allows students to earn money to help pay for college expenses. Even though you did not receive this award in your financial package, you may still be eligible based on the availability of funds and financial need.

Eligible students must:
1) Have a valid 2024-25 FAFSA and completed financial aid file
2) Be an enrolled, matriculated student
3) Demonstrate significant financial need as determined by the federal government and Financial Aid Office.

Complete the following form if you are interested in being considered for FWS. If funds become available, we will contact you via email regarding your eligibility through your University of New Haven email. Placing your name on the waitlist does not guarantee placement in a Federal Work Study position. Requests are reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.

Community Work Study is a program in which students work off campus in organizations throughout our community in West Haven and New Haven County. Academic Resource Assistants must be of high integrity as they will support the ARC Testing Center with providing students our exam proctoring service.
